GRAC RNTBC

Was established to ensure certainty for governments and other parties interested in accessing or regulating native title land and waters by providing a legal entity to manage and conduct the affairs of the native title holder.

The Gulf Regional Aboriginal Corporation can act on behalf of the Lardil, Yangkaal, Gangalidda and Kaiadilt People in:

  • Promoting and protecting Aboriginal Cultural Heritage
  • Managing Native Title Rights and Interests and Customary Law Interest.
  • Holding property and money in trust
  • Investing or otherwise applying money held in trust as directed
  • Providing land management, environmental protection, and cultural protection services to the public; and
  • Taking steps to achieve and to promote economic development and self-determination
  • Indigenous ranger fee-for-service work

The Corporation should consult with, and act in accordance with the directions of the Lardil, Yangkaal, Gangalidda and Kaiadilt Peoples.
