GRAC Annual General Meeting Announcement (AGM) – Join Us!

The Board of Directors of the Gulf Region Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (GRAC) invites all members to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The meeting will take place at 10 am on Thursday, 7th November 2024, at the PCYC in Gununa.

This is an important event for the Lardil, Yangkaal, Gangalidda, and Kaiadilt people, and all members are encouraged to participate.

This year marks the end of the current GRAC directors’ four-year term, and elections will be held for new directors to represent each language group.

If you are interested in becoming a director and contributing to GRAC’s future, here’s what you need to know:

How to Become a Director:

  • You must be a current GRAC member.
  • You need a Director ID number.
  • You must agree in writing to serve as a director.
  • You will need someone to nominate you by completing the nomination form.

To be eligible, please submit your nomination form and consent to act as a director before the AGM begins (forms provided below).

If you don’t have a Director ID yet, bring your identity documents (such as a photo ID, bank card, Medicare card, and tax file number (TFN)) so PBC support staff can help you apply.

If you cannot attend the AGM, you may appoint another GRAC member as your proxy to attend and vote on your behalf (Proxy form provided below).
