The Corporation can provide a Confirmation of Aboriginality letter for eligible applicants.

This letter is often required to access certain services, programs, or opportunities that require proof of Aboriginality.

Who can apply?
You can apply for Confirmation of Aboriginality if you:

  • Are an Aboriginal person;
  • Identify as a Lardil, Yangkaal, Gangalidda, or Kaiadilt person; and
  • Are recognised by your community

What do I need to provide?

  1. Your full name and contact details
  2. Information about your family connections
  3. Your cultural affiliation (Lardil, Yangkaal, Gangalidda or Kaiadilt)
  4. Any supporting documents (if available)

How does the process work?

  1. You submit an application form
  2. The Corporation reviews your application
  3. Additional information may be requested if needed
  4. The Board of Directors assesses your application
  5. You will be notified of the outcome
