The Board of Directors of the Gulf Region Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (GRAC) warmly invites all members to attend the upcoming Special General Meeting (SGM) and Community Meeting.

This gathering is an important opportunity for the Lardil, Yangkaal, Gangalidda, and Kaiadilt peoples to come together and discuss important matters of GRAC.

Special General Meeting: From 9am

The SGM will focus on several key matters, including:

  • Discussion and decision on director remuneration
  • Appointment of a new Yangkaal Director to fill a current vacancy on the GRAC Board
  • Other important matters

Community Meeting: From 1pm

Who should attend this meeting?

Native title holders for the Lower Gulf Region based in Mornington Island, including Lardil, Yangkaal, Kaiadilt and Gangalidda Peoples.

Information to be presented

The Gulf Region Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (GRAC) invites Lardil, Yangkaal, Kaiadilt and Gangalidda Peoples to a community meeting to provide an update regarding the status of compensation claims and to seek their views about the negotiations with the State under the native title compensation settlement framework that GRAC intends to commence.

This is an information meeting only and no native title decisions are to be made at the meeting.
